President Trump Welcomes Loved Ones of Attacked Military Members to the Presidential Residence

President Trump stated on Sunday that he has invited the relatives of a National Guard member fatally shot last week to visit the presidential home.

He added that he conversed with her parents and they were “devastated”.

Soldier Beckstrom, 20, was lost her life in a attack on last Wednesday in DC.

Her fellow service member, Andrew Wolfe, twenty-four years old, is still in the hospital in serious condition.

The president stated he’s talked about a meeting at the presidential residence for the families of both individuals of the West Virginia Guard.

“I told them: ‘When you’re prepared, because that’s a hard experience, visit the White House. We’re going to recognize her,” Trump told reporters. “And likewise with Andrew, no matter the outcome.”

Community members came together over the weekend at the high school in the state to honor Beckstrom.

Officials have charged a twenty-nine-year-old Afghan national with one count of murder and two counts of assault with intent to kill while carrying a weapon.
